Stated Role The Good Governance Office with the vision to create a Tanzania that observes the rule of law, protects human rights and which is politically, economically, and socially peaceful, stable and dynamic by year 2025, has the following functions: <P> *<P> monitoring of public leaders' ethics and abuse of power accountability and transparency;<P> *<P> coordination of state organs of prevention of corruption and ethics and capacity building;<P> *<P> strengthening of legal regime, prevention of corruption laws, ethics, and regulatory framework; and <P> *<P> interfacing the Government and the Civil Society, participation, education, prevention of corruption programmes and mass media.<P>
