| Activities | This Government’s strategic perspective is centred on an efficient and effective Public Service management as the framework for achieving rapid and sustained economic growth and poverty reduction. This is the goal of our Growth and Poverty Reduction Strategy II (GPRS II) for wealth and employment creation. Consequently, in May 2005, the GoG created the Ministry of Public Sector Reform (MPRS). The creation of this Ministry was an acknowledgment that the implementation of PSRs was critical to the government’s development agenda and vision of: • Human Capital Development, • Private Sector Development (PSD) and; • Good Governance. |
