The responsibilities of the Ministry of Commerce, among others the following: <P>Propose the policy and implement the development strategies of trade, and encourage the creation of commercial infrastructure and reorganization, rehabilitation and expansion of commercial network and service market; <P>Promoting sustainable development of the sector and ensure that the supply of goods and services market is competitive in terms of quality, price and delivery deadlines; <P>Promoting the development of production for domestic consumption, reduction and / or replacement of imports and ensure the diversification of exports; <P>Propose the rules and procedures of licensing of commercial activity, the form of sales promotion, terms of sales, special sales, organization, planning and management of the register of commercial and service market; <P>Licensing commercial activities, services market, the form of sales promotion, terms of sales, special sales; <P>Coordinate all activities of inspection and supervision of the exercise of trade and service market when necessary collaborating with other competent bodies and ensure the implementation of the sanctions; <P>To promote and regulate the installation, construction, distribution and deployment of local shops, taking into account the mobility of population, traffic, environmental impact and recovery of the marketing function; <P>Defining the requirements for commercial infrastructure of functionality, higio-sanitary, technical and commercial, the fire safety and packaging of goods and services market; <P>Participating in the drafting and implementation of standards of quality control of products, packaging, handling, transportation, storage, distribution of goods, and in the implementation of analyses, tests and examinations to verify the characteristics, origins and quality of products; <P>Promote and set in collaboration with relevant bodies of the state, the general policy of training and overcoming scientific and technical-professional traders and workers from trade; <P>Promoting international cooperation, regional and mobilize technical assistance, under the trade; <P>Collaborating with other institutions aimed at the development of policies and supervision of prices of goods and services market; <P>Collaborate in developing the country's trade balance; <P>Promote and implement the policy of safeguarding consumers' rights; <P>To promote and encourage voluntary and cooperative movement in the trade; <P>Collaborating with other institutions targeted in the establishment and supervision of the operating hours of shopping and service market; <P>Ensuring compliance with the rules of free and fair competition and removing barriers to entry of new operators in the sector of Commerce; <P>Ensure in collaboration with other agencies of the State compliance with obligations under the agreement establishing the World Trade Organization (WTO) and other regional and international organizations specialized in dealing with issues related to trade; <P>Ensure collaboration with other agencies in the promotion, organization and development of the business of providing market services and securing technical assistance post-venda; <P>Supporting the economic activities linked to production, manufacturing, processing and marketing of goods and services market; <P>Ensuring stability of supply and demand of goods and market services, in order to stabilize the market and protect consumers; <P>To promote the stabilization and adjustment of the markets and prices of products, ensuring, through the purchase of products, production and guarantee of minimum prices; <P>Disseminate information on stocks on the sources of production and needs in the areas of consumption by taking measures or seeking solutions to the free and efficient movement of goods, as well as guide and disseminate information on the volume of market movement and the census of commercial network ; <P>Ensure the negotiations and management of international agreements and protocols on trade, whether bilateral or economic integration in regional groupings; <P>Ensure the implementation of safeguard measures against imports which appear to be harmful to the national economy; <P>To support the expansion and diversification of exports; <P>Ensure the application of sanitary and plant health measures in place to protect life and human health, animal and plant; <P>To support and monitor the organisation of business missions and engage in national trade fairs and exhibitions abroad. <P> |
