| The division exists to assess the health sector manpower needs and develop appropriate plans and programmes to meet them. The division is therefore responsible for: Studying the overall national socioeconomic situation, health development plans, programmes and priorities and develop realistic staffing patterns for each type and level of health service. Assess realistic national health manpower requirement and supply in terms of discipline, numbers, where and when required. Regularly review and balance the HRH demand and supply situation and develop plans and programmes to bridge the gap. Effectively implement the approved and funded HRH development plans and programmes. Review the HRH plans on regular basis. Evaluate the outcome and propose appropriate changes. Develop and maintain detailed job contents and job requirement for each job within the Ministry. |
