| The main objective of the Division is to develop potential capabilities within the existing manpower as well as prevent obsolenscene of professional and technical knowledge and skills and provide opportunities for self development and advancement. Functions: Identify performance gap among the serving staff, and therefore maintain an up-to-date record of the types and priorities of the deficiencies in skills, abilities, e.t.c. Develop appropriate in-service continuous education programme. In collaboration with relevant professional bodies and HODs develop appropriate manpower development programmes. Implement and administer the manpower development programmes covering all aspects such as selection of candidates, securing training resources, venue, e.t.c. Monitor and co-ordinate all health manpower development programmes to ensure that they conform to the requirement specified and lead to the attainment of training objectives |
