| Stated Role |
(1) The Ministry for Energy and Water is placed under the authority of a Minister. (2) The Minister for Energy and Water has the role of working out, of implementing and of evaluating the policy of the Government as regards production, transport and distribution of energy and water. For this reason, it is charged: - development of the plans and strategies governmental as regards supply in energy and water; - prospection, research and exploitation of water in the cities and the campaigns; - promotion of new energies, in connection with the ministry in charge of scientific research. (3) It ensures the supervision of the establishments and companies of production, transport, storage and distribution of electricity, gas, oil and water, the Cameronian Company of Oil terminals. Article 2: For the achievement of his missions, the Minister for Energy and Water lay out: - of a Particular Secretariat; - of two (02) Technical Advisers; - of a General Inspection; - of Central Administration; - decentralized Services. |
