Stated Role (1) The Ministry for the Forests and Fauna is placed under the authority of a Minister. (2) The Minister for the Forests and Fauna is in charge with the development, the implementation and the evaluation of the policy of the Government forest fauna. For this reason, it is responsible: - management and protection of the forests of the national field; - development and control of the execution of the programmes of regeneration, afforestation, inventory and installation of the forests; - control of the respect of the regulation in the field of the forestry development by the various speakers; - application of the administrative sanctions when it is necessary; - connection with the professional organizations of the forest sector; - installation and management of the botanical gardens; - application of the International Conventions ratified by Cameroun fauna hunting. (3) It ensures the supervision of the National Agency of Development of the Forests, the National School of National Forestry Commission, the School of Fauna as well as the connection with the United Nations for the Food and Agriculture with regard to the forest. Article 2: For the achievement of his missions, the Minister for the Forests and Fauna lay out: - of a Particular Secretariat; - of two (2) Technical Advisers; - of a General Inspection; - of a National Brigade of the Check operations Forest and Fight Anti-Poaching; - of Police headquarters; - decentralized Services; - attached Services.
