(1) The Ministry for the Higher education is placed under the authority of a Minister. (2) The Minister for the Higher education is in charge with the development, the implementation and the evaluation of the policy of the Government as regards higher education, the organization, the operation and the teaching control of the higher education. For this reason: - it studies and proposes with the Government the ways and means aiming to the adaptation permanently educational system higher than economic and social realities national, particularly with regard to the adequacy of E1nseignement higher than the needs for the national economy; - it ensures a permanent connection with all the sectors of the national life (public administrations, companies of the public or parapublic sector, private sector) for the proff3ssionnalisation of the higher education. (3) It follows the activities of the universities, the centers and the private university establishments. It exerts the supervision on the public universities, centers and university establishments. Article 2: For the achievement of his missions, the Minister for the Higher education lays out: - of a Particular Secretariat; - of two (2) Technical Advisers; - of a General Inspection of the Services; - of a General Inspection of the Academic Businesses; - of Police headquarters; - external Services; - attached Organizations. |
