Stated Role (1) The Ministry for the Sports and Physical Education is placed under the authority of a Minister. (2) The Minister for the Sports and Physical Education has the role of development, the implementation and the evaluation continue of the policy of the sports and physical education. For this reason, it is charged: - to work out the strategies and the plans of development relating to the sport and the physical activities; - to work out the programmes of promotion of the sport of elite and rise in the technical and tactical levels of the sportsmen; - to ensure the follow-up of the realization of the programmes of preparation of the sportsmen of elite in connection with the sporting federations; - to develop and promote the Olympic spirit and the culture within the company; - to work out the projects of texts relating to the sector of the sport; - to stop the programmes of teaching of physical education or the sports in the educational establishments primary education, secondaire' and superior, public and deprived and to follow the execution of it; - to develop partnerships with the sector deprived for the investment in the sporting field; - to develop the formation and to contribute to research in sciences of the sport; - to work out projects of co-operation with national and international organizations or friendly countries in the fields of physical education and the sports, and to take care of their implementation, like their evaluation. (3) It follows the private organizations and structures coming under the fields of the sports or physical education. It ensures the supervision of the institutions and establishments of training in physical education and trades of the sport, of the sporting federations, as well as public structures coming under the fields of the sports or physical education. Article 2: For the achievement of his missions, the Minister for the Sports and Physical Education lay out: - of a Particular Secretariat; - of two (02) Technical Advisers; - of a General Inspection of the Services; - of an Inspection of Pedagogy; - of Police headquarters; - decentralized Services; - attached Services.
