| Stated Role | These units are responsible for the coordination and formulation of the Government’s recurrent’s and development budget and their approval through all administrative and Parliamentary stages.In this regard the units advise management (including those at line ministries), on the financial implications of Government policies on the budget.The Units provide vigilant supervision to spending ministries in the execution of the budget so as to promote effective and economic financial order within Government.In addition, the Development Budget Unit is also responsible for the project review exercise, the financial administration of donor funds as well as the preparation of the fortnightly Domestic Development Fund (DDF) Tranche. |
