(1) Placed under the authority of a Director, the Management of Electricity is charged: - design, formulation and implementation of the strategies in the sector of electricity; - promotion of the activities of the sector of electricity; - control of the activities of production, transformation, transport, distribution, import, export and sale of electricity, in connection with the administrations and organizations concerned; - promotion, control and valorization of renewable energies; - planning and development of the electrification, in connection with the qualified institutions and organizations; - development of the technical standards and safety requirements in the sector of electricity, in connection with the qualified Ministries and organizations; - control of the conformity of the equipment and installations electric; - analysis of the technical management reports of the publicly-owned establishments and companies with public capital of the sector of electricity; - tariffing of electricity, in connection with the Ministries and organizations concerned. (2) It includes/understands: - the Subdirectorate of the Production planning of Electricity; - the Subdirectorate of the Control of the Activities of Transport and Distribution; - the Cell of Control of Energy. |
