(1) Placed under the authority of a Director, the Directorate of Hydraulics and Hydrology is charged with: - design, of the formulation and the implementation of the strategies, drinking water supply of the urban centres; - design and of the connection, implementation of the programmes of cleansing as regards urban hydraulics with the administrations concerned; - development, of the application and the follow-up of the programmes of drinking water supply of the urban centres; - the participation in the development of the legal framework governing the sectors of water and the cleansing, in connection with the Legal Cell; - design, of the formulation and the implementation of the strategies of drinking water supply of the rural zones; - the management and of the protection of the water resources; - design and of the implementation of the programs of rural cleansing; - development, of the application and the follow-up of the programmes of drinking water supply of the rural localities; - development of the legal framework governing the sectors of water and the cleansing in rural zone, connection with the administrations concerned; - administrative monitoring of spring waters. (2) It includes/understands: - the Subdirectorate of urban Hydraulics and the Drainage work; - the Subdirectorate of rural Hydraulics and Hydrology. |
