| Stated Role | (1) Placed under the authority of a Sub-manager, the Subdirectorate of Rural Hydraulics and Hydrology is charged with: - design, of the formulation and the implementation of the strategies of drinking water supply of the rural zones; - the management and of the protection of the water resources; - design and of the implementation of the programs of rural cleansing; - development, of the application and the follow-up of the programmes of drinking water supply of the rural localities; - development of the legal framework governing the sectors of water and the cleansing in rural zone, connection with the administrations concerned; - administrative monitoring of spring waters.
