| Notes | Disamissal of Armand Akobé (Deputy Director General) On March 2, 2007, on a complaint by the judicial officer for the Treasury, Zogbo Guina, that the prosecutor with the Court of First Instance of Abidjan Plateau, has instructed the Police Department Economic and Finance for the purpose of expediting a full investigation of the facts relating to forgery and use of forgery and embezzlement of public funds made to the detriment of the State of Côte d'Ivoire. Fraudulent movements were recorded on the account for an amount of 1.4 billion CFA francs for the benefit of some people who would be presented as service providers on behalf of the cooperation between the State of Côte d'Ivoire and the Kingdom of Belgium who were co-holders of a " Ivorian / Belgian Development Fund'' domiciled at the BNI. This has led to the arrest of several officers, including the former Deputy Director-General Armand Akobe. On the 4th April, the court of first instance in Abidjan has produced an order of dismissal on the former director of the National Investment Bank (BNI), Armand Akobé Georges Michel. According to the Ordinance No. 016/2008 of 4 April 2008, produced from the senior examining magistrate, Gnakadjé Ladji Joachim, the information did not accept the "prima facie case against the accused to have embezzled or dissipated, in whole or in part, of public funds that were in his hands by virtue of his office.
