Presentation of Air Ivoire

AIR IVOIRE is created in 1963 after an agreement between the French and Ivorian governments.
On the 12th April 1974, the company become state-owned company after the Ivorian government decided to increase the capital of the company from 10 million to 60 Million FCFA.
AIR IVOIRE was active until the 31st December 1999 when it stopped all flights. The government decided of the liquidation of the company on the 6th December 2000.
In August 2000, the government announced the creation of Société Nouvelle AIR IVOIRE with a capital of 100 millions FCFA, overtaking the business rights of the former AIR IVOIRE. The company started flying on the 31st March 2002 after increase of the capital to 3.6 billion FCFA. [ Retrieved on 30/08/2007 ] |
