BIDC, institution of CEDEAO for the financing of development The Conference of the Heads of State and Government, decided in its twenty-second held Session on December 9, 1999, the transformation of the Funds of CEDEAO into a Regional Holding company with two specialized subsidiary companies. The Holding company is called Banque of Investment and of Development of CEDEAO (BIDC) and the two subsidiary companies are: the Regional Bank of Investment of CEDEAO (BRIC), intended for the financing of the private sector; and Funds Regional of Development of CEDEAO (FRDC), intended for the financing of the public sector.
