Kinshasa, DR Congo - Neighbouring Congo and DR Congo have paved the way for signing of a joint agreement shortly for the exploitation of oil reserves at their common border, according to Lambert Mende Omalanga, DR Congo's minister of hydrocarbon. Mende Omalanga said the agreement stipulates that oil product transits from Congo-Brazzaville through DR Congo, and the training of executives. The signing of this agreement is a significant step towards the strengthening of bilateral cooperation in the hydrocarbon sector, Mende Omalanga noted.
