| Notes | Dismissal of the Minister Mr Ferba Senghor was dismissed from his position on Thursday, 28th August 2008 by a presidential decree signed by the Head of State Abdoulaye Wade. His fonctions are currently shared between the State Minister Habib Sy who inherits the air transports portfolio while the minister of Senegalese Expatriates takes the handicraft portfolio. The reason of his dismissal is that Senghor is suspected to be involved in the looting of the premises of the private dailies -- L'As and 24 Heures Chrono -- on 17 August.
