To ensure the enforcement of law and order , in particular , the internal and external security of the State;

To take any measures likely ensure the prevention , enquiry and the repression of any deeds susceptible to disturb law and order;

To ensure all over the national territory ,the protection of individuals and goods, the security of public infrastructures and natural resources of the nation in collaboration with the other concerned ministries

To initiate and implement civil protection and defense.
