| Notes | The Institute of Education is a department within the Faculty of Education of the University of Cape Coast. A Director heads it and is assisted by an Assistant Registrar as Secretary and a small secretarial staff. The Institute also has one Senior Member in charge of its Account. The Institute has nine lecturers who are responsible for the development and review of subject-specific teacher training curricula and who also conduct research in Education, and in particular Teacher Education.
