Notes GIMPA’s Public Services School (GPSS) was established on January 01, 2005 with a mandate to provide a broad range of services to Ghana’s public services with specific attention to the Civil Service. This is to be pursued with special reference to all of GIMPA’s original mandates. GPSS which was initially named GIMPA Public/Civil Services College took over the responsibilities of its forerunner the School of Public Management (SPM). SPM had earlier been set up out of the erstwhile Training, later Human Resource Development Division.

Mission of GPSS

GPSS will use the best mode of delivery in Sub Sahara Africa and maintain its competitive advantage above all non-African training institutions when it comes to building the capacity of the public sector in Ghana.
