Research at IPDR is mainly conducted under the institutional frame of the National Institute of Agricultural Research of Niger (INRAN) and the Abdou Moumouni Dioffo University of Niamey, faculty of agronomy.

Activities The main areas of research in livestock science are fodder improvement, livestock nutrition and improved cattle breeds.
