Stated Role The Office of the Deputy Director-General heads up the Private Office of the President. This office is responsible primarily for the strategic co-ordination of the President’s Programme, and administrative and logistic support.<P>The unit provides strategic management and overall administration of the Cabinet Office to ensure efficient support to Cabinet and its Committees. It oversees the conceptualization and operationalisation of systems and processes that enhance the efficiency of the Cabinet. The DDG is the Deputy to the Secretary of Cabinet, the Director-General, and oversees two chief directorates. The Office of the DDG and the chief directorates are collectively responsible for effective co-ordination and facilitation of the decision-making process of the Cabinet and its Committees
