The JCPS Chief Directorate works as a bridge between the JCPS Cabinet Committee and JCPS Director-Generals (DG) cluster. The Chief Directorate works as a co-ordinating and facilitating structure of the JCPS DG cluster and various committees and sub-committees of JCPS DG cluster. This includes providing secretariat support to the JCPS DG cluster and participation by the Chief Directorate in the cluster structures and committees such as National Intelligence Co-ordinating Committee (NICOC), Joint Operational Intelligence Structures (JOINTS), Integrated Justice System Development Committee (IJS DevCom) and Border Control Operations Co-ordinating Committee (BCOCC). This enables the Chief Directorate to provide analytical, advisory, policy and strategic support to The Presidency on criminal justice system and security issues.<P> |
