| Activities | The Bomani commission was set up to investigate and review mining contracts in Tanzania. It was started in late 2007, and presented its findings in June-July 2008. The committee recommended a number of measures to increase government stake in the extractive industries, including increased royalties, and government stakes in commercial companies .
