Stated Role The Armée de Terre contributes the bulk of the forces of the FARDC. It is made of infantry units spread across the 10 military regions of the country.<P>The reconstruction of the FARDC following the peace process of the end of the Second Congo War in July 2003 has led to the incorporation into the Land Forces of soldiers issued of the rebel factions that signed the peace agreement.
