Notes Sacking of Dr Dore:
Guinean President Lansana Conte replaced his finance minister, Ousmane Dore. No reason was given the State media who announced the news.
A source close to the presidency linked Economy and Finance Minister Ousmane Dore's dismissal to problems surrounding the 50th anniversary of independence celebrations on October 2.
Karamokoba Camara, an economist and secretary-general in the economy and finance ministry, was appointed to replace Dore, the television station said.
