| Notes | Mr. Ehouzou comes to the United Nations from his posting since 2003 as Ambassador of Benin to Ethiopia, Kenya, Sudan and Djibouti, and as Permanent Representative of his country to the African Union and the United Nations Economic Commission for Africa in Addis Ababa. From 2000 to 2003, he was Benin’s Director for International Organizations, and from 1996 to 2000, he served as Director for the Coordination of External Resources in the Ministry of Planning, Economic Restructuring and Promotion of Employment. From 1993 to 1996, he also served as Deputy Director for Africa and Middle East Affairs and Deputy Director for the Communities in his country’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs. Mr. Ehouzou’s career has spanned more than 25 years in diplomacy and international relations, including in bilateral and multilateral cooperation. Mr. Ehouzou graduated from the Institute for Public Administration in Paris and from the Centre for Administrative Training of the University of Benin. He also holds a master’s degree in history.
