Profile Dr Moses Ikiara holds a PhD in Environmental and Natural Resource Economics from the University of Amsterdam, Holland. He has substantial experience in policy research, having joined KIPPRA in year 2000. His research experience and interest mainly covers environmental and natural resource management issues, particularly the sustainable management of these resources, tourism policy, trade issues, particularly with respect to service and agricultural and industry policy issues. In recognition of his experience, Dr. Ikiara has been appointed to several policy working groups or task forces such as the national fisheries policy working group and technical committee on Kenya External Aid Policy and technical support teams like the National Trade Negotiation team In addition to policy experience, Dr. Ikiara has gained considerable management experience at KIPPRA, having been the Institute's programs co-ordinator since July 2003. mmikiara@kippra.or.ke Selected Recent Publications Ikiara, M.M., A.M.
