| Notes | Dr Mujaji was appointed Pro-Vice Chancellor of the University of Zimbabwe for 3 years as of 1st August 2006. Dr Mujaji has been with University of Zimbabwe since February 1982 – a period of 25 years. Over the years he has acquired extensive administrative experience in University Education. He became Pro-Vice Chancellor from being the Dean of Studies in the College of Health Sciences. Prior to Deanship, Dr Mujaji has been a Deputy Dean of the College of Health Sciences, Chairman of the Department of Chemical Pathology, Chairman of the Division of Pathology in the College of Health Sciences and Chairman of the Department of Biochemistry. Dr Mujaji was the inaugural course co-coordinator and lecturer for the MSc programme in Food Sciences since its inception in 1982. This programme laid the foundation to the founding of the Department of Food, Nutrition and Family Sciences. He was involved in the initial stages of the development of the idea of distance learning education, which led to the founding of Zimbabwe Open University (ZOU). He was involved extensively in the drafting of regulations for course unit system in Faculty of Science. Dr Mujaji was part of the team in the Department of Chemical Pathology that initiated and inaugurated the Department of Immunology in the College of Health Sciences. Dr Mujaji has always had a passion for Quality Assessment/Assurance in anything. He took a leading role in the initiation of the Zimbabwe National Quality Assurance/Assessment Programme (ZINQAP), which ensures that Medical Laboratories produce true and reliable results. Zimbabwe is one of the very few developing countries to have such a Quality Assurance/Assessment programme. Dr Mujaji is a fervent believer that the University can and should generate money through partnership and consultancy with industry and public concerns. Dr Mujaji sits on a number of Boards outside University of Zimbabwe. He is a member of the Research Council of Zimbabwe, Chitungwiza Central Hospital Board, Inaugural Chairman of Radiation Protection Board in the Ministry of Health and Child Welfare, Chairman of ZINQAP – Trust, Chairman of Board of Education – United Methodist Church and Chairman of the Zimbabwe Institute of Systemic Therapy (ZIST) otherwise known as CONNECT.
