Before Mr Zucula served as Chief Executive Officer of Fundação Para o Desenvolvimento Comunitário (FDC) (2004-2005), as Regional Spatial Development Initiative Coordinator under Development Bank of Southern Africa (DBSA) (2001-2004), as Chief Technical Advisor (CTA) for the Integrated Natural Resource Management Project (GERFFA) in the Ministry of Agriculture and Fisheries, ETC UK Ltd (1997-1999), and as National Programme Manager for the FAO (1993-1995).
From 1990-1992 Mr Zucula was Vice-Minister of Agriculture of Mozambique.
Mr Zucula holds an M. Sc. in Agronomy of the University of Minnesota, USA, and a B. Sc. Agronomy, Eduardo Mondlane University, Maputo, Mozambique.
