| Notes | Profile of Elton Mangoma Elton Mangoma is a founder member of the MDC in 1999. he campaigned vigorously for the Presidential elections in Manicaland in 2002 for President Tsvangirai. In 2005 he stood as parliamentary candidate for MDC in 2005 the election was marred by massive irregularities. The results were challenged, Justice Makarau agreed thaty the wishes of the people of Makoni North had been denied, and she could not declare the seat vacant. Elton generally supported the party financially and currently is the Deputy Treasurer General and Acting Treasurer General. He was the Vice Chairman for Makoni North and Secretary for Manicaland Province. He is one of the first few Zimbabwean and black Chartered Accountant (Zimbabwe). He holds Masters of Business Leadership (MBL) degree and a Bachelor of Accountancy –Honors degree; Elton did his “A” levels at Goromonzi High School. Mangoma is an accomplished Charted accountant being the managing Director for Corporate Excellence since January 2000.
