These Acts changed the position of teachers before the Law. I sustained the 1995 teachers' strike which could have resulted in a national chaos had I wavered in the carrying out of Governments policy relating to teachers pay. I drafted and piloted the Free Primary Education Policy in Lesotho. Again, I was the central figure in tackling issues related to the Free Primary Education programme. I facilitated the launching of the Maluti - Drakensberg Transportier Project in 2001. |
